What is everyone's favorite FPS game?

I'm trying to find a couple of good FPS games and I just wanna know if you guys know any. Put down your favorite FPS (computer) game. thanks

If it's the latter, get S.t.a.l.k.e.r.: Shadow of Chernobyl, it's a great game, and it's possibly the BEST game I've ever played with the mod Oblivion Lost.

I'm currently only playing Combat Arms and Unreal Tournament Game of the Year Edition - so far those are keeping me just fine.

yah, lol i heard of a few but after checking them out none of them come to the level of CA.

Dude, when it comes to PC based games, free games like CA don't hold a candle to games that you have to pay for like Modern Warfare and Bad Company 2. The graphics are way more intense and realistic when it comes to "pay for" games. The hackers are not near as thick in "pay for" games than in free games. And the server latency on "Pay For" games is never as bad as games that are free. Heck, 3 million ppl world wide play CA, and that creates a lot of lag.

I think nexon fails at a ton of different things. But my opinion is, what do you expect from a free game. We can think nexon fails and still play the game. It's still fun, even though they have so many flaws when compared to a "Pay for" game. But like I said, what do you expect?.. It's free.

If you have ever played Modern Warfare or Bad Company 2, I can't see how you could make that statement with any amount of truth. CA doesn't hold a candle to these games in more than just one aspect. Truth be known, CA is a blast to play. But truth be more known that it is in the middle ground in FPS games for the PC.

it really is hard to ompare pay games to free games cuz like you said..its FREE. really can't get anything good for free these days..lol

well ive never played bad company but mw2 sucks. not enough weapons and the "perks" are really unrealistic. You cant akimbo some of the weapons that you can on the game. The weapons are moderatly realistic, but at the same time there arent to many. The games are short, and the multiplayer is full of kids who waste there lives away playing games every waking second. So thats why CA is better than mw2 graphics really doesnt mean a whole lot. CA i think is a great game, ive not seen a game better yet. And the double tap is really dumb as well. Also, the shooting through walls is magnified way to much, you cant shoot through a brick wall... accuracy is off, ump cant hit something that half a mile away full auto. So yeah mw2 is pretty lame.

I thought the first mw was better, also WAW was good.
