MAG on PS3.

Hey guys, I just got MAG at midnight and I've been playing it the entire night, it is possibly the best PS3 exclusive game I've played, it's purely online with 64-256 players in a single game room, it's an 8 man squad based online tactical FPS with five other eight man squads helping you.

If anyone does play this my PSN name is Anubis2121, I'm currently S.V.E.R., and have a S.V.E.R. in-game outfit promo card if anyone would like it, also if enough people do play this I may start a MAG clan.

Here's some advice if you do start this game, the first 10 or so levels are hard, snipers suck in the begining until you upgrade them, medics level the quickest, pistols are useless, but if you plan on being a sniper, upgrade pistols and get the Automatic pistol.

THat game sounds sick but I just got MW2 a while back so it'll be a while before I can get another game. But that sounds cool.

The game is fun but highly frustrating, I've deleted my character 3 times now because I messed up on my character builds, if you decide to play this, be sure to research your skills before making any purchases.

Yea I know MW2 isn't the greatest but when I got my PS3 it was the only game everyone was playing and I wanted to play online so I just bought it.

You have no idea how badly I want to play this, but I have no PS3...and if I did, I'd need keyboard and mouse peripherals on account of I can't use a damn game controller worth crap >.<

That was the same problem I had when I started playing MW2. I was too used to playing with keyboard and mouse

I tried playing Halo 3 a couple of times...

After PC FPS gaming for 9 years, it's just too big of a pain to get used to a controller. I would MAKE the peripherals if they didn't have 'em

I have a good balance of consoles and PC so I can play both quite well. Though it's a pain in the a__ going from a playstation controller to an N64 controller, I bought a new N64 a few months back and can't even play it because of the controller.

lol N64. How much you buy it for? 10 bucks?

I don't have a PS3.

For the console, 6 controllers, 14 games, the expansion pack and the memory card, $57 +tax/shipping.

@Killer: It's great, and quite easy when you have a well balanced team, the mode I play (defend your base type) usually has 3 "gunner" classes, 3-4 medics, 1-2 support classes, if the whole team communicates, you can usually win without losing a single objective, the support guys will plant claymores and "buff" you with motion detectors, and various other items, the gunners will be the main line of defense, and the medics will sit back and heal the gunners.
The biggest problem with the game is the grenades, everyone is a god damned grenade whore, they'll just chuck grenades in every direction regardless of wether a team mate is there (friendly fire is permanent) and usually cause you to lose the game because they kill all your defenses just to get a single god damned kill.

I think the second sniper was terrible, it wasn't OHK and it was bolt action.

Learn to use spaces.

And I agree, the second snipers suck on all factions, but they each have their own role, 1st sniper is for speed, second is for accuracy (higher than the third but not noticable), and third is for power.
Also get the variable scope, it helps tremendously for long ranged sniping.
